Frequently asked questions:

How many sessions will I need? This varies from person to person however these sessions are designed to provide you with small, impactful changes week to week across a period of weeks to months. It isn't a huge overwhelming consultation- it's designed to be efficient, affordable, and effective! Clients who have the most success have sessions with me fortnightly for ~3-4 months. The amount that you see me is totally up to you and we can discuss this more and work out a suitable plan in your first session.

How long are the sessions? 30 minutes! These sessions are designed to fit into your lunch break and around your other commitments. We are making accessing pregnancy health services easy even when you're busy.

Can these sessions be claimed on my insurance? Registered dietitian services can be claimed on health insurance depending on your policy. Check your policy for details.

How much does each session cost? $79 per session. I know that this price is low- but it's this way for a reason. What you eat during pregnancy has the potential to impact on your baby's future health, risk of chronic conditions, weight, mental health, and so much more. It's important to me that everyone has the opportunity to access nutrition services during pregnancy and I am glad to be able to offer my advice at an affordable rate.

I have other health conditions on top of pregnancy. How do I know if this is still the right service for me? Your plan is specific to you and takes into account all of your health needs as well as your goals. Pregnancy nutrition and advice on managing chronic conditions can be done in the same plan- you just need personalisation (which I provide!)

What if I don't like the plan that you give me? This isn't possible because we create the plan together! I talk you through options and suggestions during our sessions and together we come up with a plan including meal ideas that suit your preferences, time availability and budget. I will never suggest something that you don't love because I want you to actually do the plan and succeed!

Will you help me with supplements? Supplements should always be prescribed by a dietitian so yes I absolutely will help you with supplements. I will review what you are currently taking and prescribe or suggest additional supplements as needed.
