Fruit and nut chocolate

About the Recipe


  • ½ cup coconut oil

  • ¼ cup pure maple syrup

  • ¾ cup cocoa powder

  • pinch of salt

  • ½ cup nuts and/or seeds

  • ¼ cup dried fruit

  • 2 tablespoons shredded coconut


Step 1

Melt coconut butter in a saucepan on a low heat then stir through maple, cocoa, and salt.

Step 2

Line a slice tin with baking paper and pour the chocolate ~1cm thick.

Step 3

Sprinkle the nuts/ seeds/ dried fruit evenly over the top.

Step 4

Refrigerate to set then cut into squares.

Adapt for nut free - Only include seeds and dried fruit- no nuts!
