Almond flour crackers

About the Recipe


  • ⅓ cup almond flour

  • ⅓ cup sunflower seeds

  • ⅓ cup pumpkin seeds

  • ⅓ cup chia seeds

  • ⅓ cup sesame seeds

  • 1 Tbsp psyllium husk

  • 1 tsp salt

  • ¼ cup melted coconut oil

  • 1 cup boiling water


Step 1

Preheat oven to 180 degrees Celsius.

Step 2

Mix all ingredients together in a bowl. Leave to sit for 10 minutes, or until the chia seeds swell to form a gel- like consistency.

Step 3

Place the dough on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Add another paper on top and flatten evenly with hands and a rolling pin.

Step 4

Remove the upper paper and bake for 40-45 minutes, checking occasionally.

Step 5 Be sure to check the crackers closely as they are almost finished cooking- as this is when they tend to burn easily.

This recipe is a gf, df recipe. There is a good range of different nuts and seeds in this recipe which provides a whole range of different nutrients. Chia seeds are a really good plant source of omega 3 and is super high in fiber.
