About the Recipe
Ingredients
2 cup oats
½ cup raw pumpkin seeds
â…“ cup raw sunflower seeds
â…“ cup sesame seeds
4 tablespoons chia seeds
1 tablespoon poppy seeds
1 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons oil
1 tablespoon pure maple syrup
¾ cup of room temperature water
Preparation
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius.
Step 2
All ingredients together and leave to soak for 10 minutes.
Step 3
Form oat mixture into a ball and transfer to a parchment-lined baking sheet.
Step 4
Press a second sheet of parchment paper directly on top and, using a rolling pin, flatten into a thin layer. Remove top layer of parchment. Bake cracker until golden brown around edges, 15–20 minutes.
Step 5
If desired- can remove from oven after 15 minutes, break into crackers, and bake the other side.
Oats are a great source of B vitamins and fibre. Combined with the different types of seeds in the recipe, it is bound to give you a slow release of energy.
