Yogurt flatbreads

About the Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 cup plain unsweetened yoghurt

  • 1 ½ tsp baking powder

  • 2 cups plain flour

  • Extra flour for kneading/rolling

Preparation

Step 1


Add flour, baking powder, and yoghurt to a bowl and combine.



Step 2


Knead to combine ingredients- adding more flour as needed.



Step 3


Pull dough apart into 4 sections and roll with a rolling pin to flatten.



Step 4


Add a tsp oil to a pan at medium heat and fry breads until dough rises and is golden brown on each side.



This is a super quick and easy recipe to make and the leftover flatbreads stores really well. Just reheat in the microwave or a hot pan.

The yogurt in this recipe gives the flatbread more protein and calcium.
